Also don’t spread yourself too thin! Humans cannot possibly focus on 1000s of environmental issues at once. For me, I prefer to focus on practical solutions to ending plastic and urban composting. That’s my interest. I love the passion and I hope this helps!

I'm not saying crypto isn't using energy, it uses a lot of energy and that's a fact. The other fact is that it's estimated that 74% of crypto uses renewables, and the crypto comunity has been all over reducing the enviro impact for /years/.

What shits me about crypto art is that it's only helping artists get rich NOW, at this time, when it's still massively wasteful.
It effectively creates the virtual equivalent to a traditional original, but it's only worth as much money as it is now because it's a novelty.
We gotta think of what the alternative would be. To get the same income, how many prints need to be made & shipped? The "crypto is wasteful" argument is the same as "people buying plastic containers". It's putting the strain on the wrong people.
