Breaking: Georgia’s GOP-controlled House passes new voter suppression bill #HB531 cutting weekend voting, restricting mail ballot drop boxes, adding voter ID for mail ballots, giving voters less time to return ballots & dramatically limiting runoff time after Dems won in Nov/Jan
The 2020 electorate in Georgia was more diverse than any in the history of the state, despite a raging pandemic. This should have become a model for how to encourage participation.
Instead Republicans are taking action to stop that from happening again.
One thing nobody says because mostly asshole bad-faith pseudo journalists are the ones who yell about it is that when I’ve been on location and felt unsafe because of protesters

Finally sent my cannabis legalization letter. Got a form letter from my state senator that says it could be 3 weeks before he answers because of his high volume of emails and a form letter from my assemblyman that made clear he hates weed and didn't read my letter. 👍
My state senator sponsored a bill to raise the mortgage recording tax in my county. Wtf?! Why would you sponsor a bill to raise taxes on your own people?!
It's literally a bill to raise mortgage taxes on small mortgages in our county, which, obvi, are held by some mortgage holders who aren't well off. Consider: in our county, there are multiple houses worth more than $1 million, and our state senator isn't going after them.
It’s official! I’m running for Congress against Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Sorry if this is a bit random, but the fact that Biden easily won the Democratic primary despite having little support from blue-checkmark liberal elites is something that ought to have been a pretty big wake-up call but doesn't seem to have been.
I don’t care what Cruz said at CPAC, but I do care that it appears Texas was just a layover stop for him between Cancun and Orlando to drop a pack of water into someone’s trunk and abandon his constituents again as they get slammed with $16,000 electrical bills.
