You know one thing I really appreciated about Rivers? He wasn't afraid to show emotion; in games, post games, pre-games, whatever. He wasn't afraid to get choked up, shed some tears, have a shaky voice. He was perfectly comfortable being himself and displaying natural emotions.
So often, emotions are described as a "non-masculine quality", like, showing visible emotions, especially crying, being upset, etc. This is something I actively work to dispel, and to have an NFL QB who went through his career unapologetic, I just think that's awesome.
