Thanks for posting up my entire interview on @TheView today. I teased that my intermittent power failure was due to sabotage. 🤣
.@MichaelEDyson reacts to Pres.-elect Joe Biden acknowledging the impact Black voters had on his victory: “What president in American history has explicitly articulated his debt, what he owes to African-American people because he recognizes we had his back, now he has ours.”
Thank you for having me on as a guest today in honor of the launch on my latest book, “Long Time Coming: Reckoning with Race in America”. But as we discussed, we need to look at what the new administration will do to help ease of burden of racial tension we face in our nation.

I’m tired of pouring out virtual liquor for the hip hop fallen. Seems more rap stars are dying these days than spitting lyrics. The killing must cease. The personal & social desperation that fuels it must cease. These crushing inequalities that support it must cease. Please. God.
As I stated for at least 10 years, “there needs to be some Hip Hope”. My faith in that possibility was gunned down with the death of Nipsey Hussle.
