We've had a response from Defra to our June 2020 #badgercull challenge letter supported by @RSPCA_official @BornFreeFDN @IFAWUK @WildJustice_org @LeagueACS
Read why we think it's meaningless and exposes lack of a serious policy to control bTB 👉
Replying to @BadgerTrust: ICYMI - although really there’s little to miss from Defra, unfortunately.
Winterwatch is BACK to bring you the very best of our brilliant British winter wildlife.
Join us LIVE from 19th January to 29th January, Tuesday to Friday on @BBCTwo at 8pm.
We will see you all very soon… 😊

Not a 🦡 in sight (too busy scratching, or making a new bed perhaps) but we had to share this amazing thread. No 18 is our fav. That expression. What could it see?! Thanks for compiling the list @JoaquimCampa And thanks for your patience, wildlife photographers of the world 🙌🏻
Interfering with a badger or a badger sett is a crime - Protection of Badgers Act 1992.
Dial 999 - If crime is in progress
Dial 101 - If you come across a dug sett or persecuted badger
Most police forces have online methods to report crime.
Report all crimes to @BadgerTrust
What one thing will you do for badgers in 2021? 🦡️
Whether it's joining your local badger group, writing to your MP about the cull or anything else to help our wonderful wildlife - tell us how you'll be a badger hero this year. 💚
